Upcoming Meeting for YOU Are you involved in the following: set up, tear down, KidFusion, nursery, coffee and donuts, entryway set up, sound, PowerPoint or anything else I may have missed? We are going to have a meeting at our new location, Faith Lutheran, in the coming weeks to run through all that we need to have in place for our new service time and set up. It is tentatively scheduled for April 29th at 6:30pm. Please put this on your calendar as we look forward to stepping things up to the next level.
May 23rd!! We will have our first service in our new location on May 23rd. If you are not familiar with where our location is please drive by it before this day arrives. It is located on Cedar Road just north of Dodd next to Charter communications at 16880 Cedar Avenue, Rosemount, MN 55068-5130. It is in the corner of Apple Valley, Lakeville, Rosemount area. The new service time starts at 10:30am on this day. Bring a friend!
What Does The Future Hold? As your Pastor I have been chewing on that little statement quite a bit. We are moving into a new facility, will face a few changes and will have much greater visibility to the community. So what will all that mean to Harmony? Much of what I have thought about reflects what we see in scripture during the forming of the Christian church after Christ left the earth. The gospel was spread primarily in the city. It was out in the open and was noticed by the gatherings as well as the constant sharing of its people. It helped meet the needs of the community and it also reached into the people's lives because it was relevant. The church grew because it met together, prayed together, ate together, baptized together and had communion together. They grew as fast as their future unfolded. I believe the new building and location will afford us the opportunity to do the same.
Ideas we are now kicking around with the new space will all be in regards to what we can do to mimic the early church growth. We will have specific groups meeting for worship, teaching and yes eating. We will start some ambitious music outreach ministries and we will step up as a choir. We will have greater signage and visibility to attract those who need a great bible centered, Holy Spirit driven community. We will also still reach out to our community with events like food drives, school supply programs, Halloween parties and more. It will be easy to think that now that we have a space we can relax a little - maybe a little. But even so, it will be for a short time. We will begin to grow and there will be a lot expected of us again as we reach our cities for Jesus. Please continue to pray with me as we live out our mission and fit into this new space. If you have questions regarding this new endeavor please ask. We want to be prepared for everything and your questions will help us be ready. What an exciting time!
I Love Kids Do you love the kids at Harmony Church? We have some new needs with our Kid's Ministry now that we are moving into a new facility. We will have to start KidFusion Kid's Ministry right at 10am. This puts a tremendous burden on our already taxed children's workers. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We need more volunteers to help out on Sunday mornings with the Kid's Ministry. If you have kids in the ministry, please help us out by volunteering some time each month. If every parent volunteers, we will only need you once every few months! See Becky or Misty for more details.

LIFE Groups
Hi Def - Teen Youth Group
Meets on Wednesday evenings at McGuire Middle School and is lead by Pastor Garth Heckman.
Right Clique - Teen Girl's Group
This group is lead by Jamie Walsh and meets every other Monday evening at 7pm at the Kindem's house. It is a great time to hang out together and study God's word.
Mom's Gone Child - Young Mom's Group
This is an opportunity for Mom's with young children to get together once a month for play dates. This will be led by Natalie Kasper.
Harmony Under the Hood - Community Service Group
If you like working on cars and making a difference in your world, this is the group for you. See Kevin Kleiser to find out how you can help.
Be a Man Bible Study
This study is mandatory for all men of Harmony and meets every Saturday morning. See Pastor Garth Heckman for more information.

This group will focus on Garth's Sunday Sermon and give people a chance to discuss how it applies to their lives. This will be led by Tim & Melissa Fleury.
Harmonize at Home
Coming soon to a home near you is Harmonize at Home. This will be a great time for you to join a few other families and have that extra special time to connect with others from Harmony. We also suggest inviting a few friends who have not yet tried Harmony - a great way to eat, talk, laugh and get to know one another better. Sign ups coming soon!
