Let's Build It! This Sunday we continue our new series on the book of Nehemiah and it leads us into some tough questions about the direction of Harmony and where we are headed. We are getting close to our 4 year anniversary and it begs the question "Now What?" Be there!
No More Excuses Okay, everyone wants to do something great for God. I think sometimes we overlook the small things we can do in hopes that someday we will stumble into something big. But even David had to slay the bear before he killed Goliath. So NOW no more EXCUSES! Invite your friends to Harmony and expect God to work on their heart! It's a small way God can begin to work in your life. See you this Sunday with your friends.
Give Me A Break Men, what a great run at our first hardcore Bible study. I have heard from many men how much they have enjoyed it and how it has strengthened their faith. We all must continue to live it and keep in the word of God for ourselves. We will be taking a break and then it is back to the gym, where we will hit it hard and dig even deeper into God's word. It will carry you into new levels of Manhood for you, your family and your job. So enjoy the next 3 weeks, but do not give up seeking God.

Already there are some new and deep friendships happening and you can still get in on it. Women's Potluck or Dinner Out On Wednesday, March 31st the women of Harmony will combine bible study groups for a potluck or dinner out, just for fun. Save the date. More information to come.

Building By Good Friday We have been actively seeking out buildings to use in order to be better steward of our time and money. We also believe that the right location and building could help give us a greater opportunity to reach people for Jesus. My prayer is to have a building by Good Friday. We appreciate your prayers as we try to do what God is telling us to do. We believe He will open up the right door so we can do the same.

Tough Questions! This Sunday we are starting a new series on the book of Nehemiahand it leads us into some tough questions about the direction of Harmony and where we are headed. Demonic Faith This Sunday we continue on with our Facets of Faith series and try to tap into the fabulous life God has for us. There are things we can do to help activate our faith and live faith out daily in our lives. But did you know that there is a demonic faith out there that you must be aware of? Pastor Garth will take us on a journey and help us plug into the active side of faith. Get ready to live an adventure. See you Sunday and don't forget...every Sunday at Harmony is visitor Sunday!

Winning Lottery Ticket! Wouldn't it be great to buy someone a winning lottery ticket? They are short money, life is tough and they could use a boost. You pick up a lottery ticket for them and WHAM, they win! Now, I do not suggest you go out and buy lottery tickets, but you can give someone an even better gift. Invite them to Harmony Church and watch God change their life. It's not up to you to change them, just invite them and let God do the rest. Every Sunday is a friend Sunday. Don't miss an opportunity to listen to God and invite someone.
Fasting For The New Year Have you ever experienced the power of fasting? It may seem a little weird that fasting can bring strength, but it can. It is a unique scriptural principal that can catapult you into a new level of power in your spiritual life. Here are some principals to go by. Join me this New Year in a fast! Specifically, let's fast, pray and study believing to find the right building!
If you do not already know of the power and importance of fasting, here are some very important facts:
  • Fasting was an expected discipline in both the Old and New Testament eras. For example, Moses fasted at least two recorded forty-day periods. Jesus fasted 40 days and reminded His followers to fast, "when you fast," not if you fast.
  • Fasting and prayer can restore the loss of the "first love" for your Lord and result in a more intimate relationship with Christ.
  • Fasting is a biblical way to truly humble yourself in the sight of God (Psalm 35:13; Ezra 8:21).King David said, "I humble myself through fasting."
  • Fasting enables the Holy Spirit to reveal your true spiritual condition, resulting in brokenness, repentance, and a transformed life.
  • The Holy Spirit will quicken the Word of God in your heart and His truth will become more meaningful to you!
  • Fasting can transform your prayer life into a richer and more personal experience.
  • Fasting can result in a dynamic personal revival in your own life-and make you a channel of revival to others.
  • Fasting and prayer are the only disciplines that fulfill the requirements of II Chronicles 7:14:
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Be A Man Bible Study THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL MEN OF HARMONY CHURCH! You will become a better husband, father, employee and lover! We will take your manhood to a new level. Harmony church must be built on the strength of the men in our church...be there! God is depending on you! We will be honest, open and fired up to serve God! The Harmony Mom's Group is going to have their first meeting on Thursday, February 18th. It is a play date for stay at home moms from 10:30am to 12:30pm. The location and activity are to be announced once we know who all is interested in coming. Natalie Kasper needs moms to contact her ASAP if they are interested. God's word will not return void, it has the power to change, set free and forgive and give life.
Building By Good Friday We have been actively seeking out buildings to use in order to be better steward of our time and money. We also believe that the right location and building could help give us a greater opportunity to reach people for Jesus. My prayer is to have a building by Good Friday. We appreciate your prayers as we try to do what God is telling us to do. We believe He will open up the right door so we can do the same.
HiDef Winter Retreat Thursday, February 11th through Saturday, February 13th, for ages 6th grade through high school.

Meets on Wednesday evenings at McGuire Middle School and is lead by Pastor Garth Heckman.

Right Clique - Teen Girls Group
This group is lead by Jamie Walsh and meets once per month. It is a great time to hang out together and study God's word.

Harmony Under the Hood - Community Service Group
If you like working on cars and making a difference in your world, this is the group for you. See Kevin Kleiser to find out how you can help.

Women of Harmony - "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyers
