Remember the days when your parents would say "Your 15, act like it!"? As if you had forgotten your age. But it's good advice! We were saved by faith and we depend on it for our future eternity. But because we were saved by faith, we can also live by faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of things not yet seen. Do you have any evidence that you are living a life of faith? What do you need from God? Are you living, believing and hoping in God that through faith you will walk into that blessing? Today is the day!
Check The Dates OUR FIRST EVER Good Friday Service - Friday, April 2nd, 2010 at TBD. Easter Service - Sunday, April 4th, 2010 at 10 am. Be a Man Bible Study - Starts Saturday, January 9th, 2010 at 8am. HiDef Winter Retreat - From Thursday, February 11th through Saturday, February 13th. Be a Man Bible Study starts Saturday, January 9th at 8am. Location to be announced. Men, Harmony needs you, your wife needs you, your kids need you, your country needs you and your God needs you. This will be a 5-week intensive study on being a man. No punches pulled, no excuses, no girly talk and NO EXCUSES! If you love God, your family your kids, you will be there. We will tell it like it is and you will grow and become closer to God then ever before! Roommate Needed One of our young men at Harmony is in need of a roommate. He currently has a lot of space available and you can talk to Pastor Garth about the particulars. Buildings We have been actively seeking out buildings to use in order to be better steward of our time and money. We also belive that the right location and building could help give us a greater opportunity to reach people for Jesus. We are excited at the recent options that we have come across. Some include sharing with another church at their existing location. Other options include a building all to ourself. We appreciate your prayers as we try to do what God is telling us to do. We believe He will open up the right door so we can do the same. Count It All A Joy We are still in need of offering counters, but with a new twist. We will now be counting offering as soon as it has been taken to the back room. This allows for people to immediately leave after service and take down. If you tithe regularly to Harmony and would like to help count the offering, please see either of the Pastors this Sunday. Thanks! HiDef Winter Retreat Thursday, February 11th through Saturday, February 13th, for ages 6th grade through high school. Meets on Wednesday evenings at McGuire Middle School and is lead by Pastor Garth Heckman.
The Living Room - Young Adults 19-30
This is a place to meet people similar in age and interests. This group is lead by Donna Heckman, meets twice per month and will focus on Food-Friends and Fun.
Right Clique - Teen Girls Group
This group is lead by Jamie Walsh and meets once per month. It is a great time to hang out together and study God's word.
Financial Peace University - Adult Study
Learn Godly principles of financial responsibility and watch your personal finances and relationships grow stronger. This is lead by Dick & Juanita Felch
Harmony Under the Hood - Community Service Group
If you like working on cars and making a difference in your world, this is the group for you. See Kevin Kleiser to find out how you can help
Hi Call & Football - Community Service Group
This group combines the importance of strong friendships with volunteer service. It is lead by Phil & Judy Gwoke and will meet twice per month; once to perform a service project, and again to just socialize.
